Cellar Door

Our cellar door is open Saturday and Sunday.

All of our wine is made from grapes grown in our vineyard.  
We make our wine on the premises using traditional methods including open fermenters, a basket press and French and American oak hogsheads.  

Shiraz 2005 Awarded a silver medal in the 2008 Australian Small Winemakers show.
(14.5% ) Spicy berry fruit with a peppery finish.  Restrained use of French an American oak for 18 months.  Picked in March 2005 and bottled in October 2006.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 (14.5%)  Fresh blackcurrant with a hint of mint.  Soft tannins and rounded mouth feel.  Matured in French and American oak for 18 months.  Picked in March 2006 and bottled in October 2007.

Shiraz 2006 (14%) A fruity medium bodied shiraz with a hint of pepper.  Matured in American and French oak for 18 months.  Picked in February 2006 and bottled in October 2007.

Chardonnay Viognier 2008 (13%) is a blend of 75% unwooded chardonnay and 25% viognier.  It has a crisp palate with pear and apricot primary fruit characteristics.


Come for a tasting at our cellar door and sit on the verandah with a glass of wine and platter.

 
  Our Story

We began Carrickalinga Creek Vineyard
in 2001 by planting 2 hectares (5 acres)
of shiraz and cabernet cuttings. A hectare (one acre) of chardonnay (G9V7 clone) was planted in 2002.
